“No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.” John 15:15
Friendship With God
Friendship with God? Oh how can it be?
That my Savior would choose a friendship with me.
That He would see me clothed in garments snow white,
With hands that are clean and eyes shining bright.
This friendship with Jesus I’ll never deny.
I’ll worship and adore Him with arms lifted high.
I’m clean and forgiven not because of who I am.
I’m clean, I’m forgiven, clean because of the Lamb.
A wee weak branch grafted to the True Vine that is strong.
The sap from the Vine is what keeps me from wrong.
His love flowing through me bringing life deep inside.
He chose me as friend, so in His love I’ll abide.
His love comes in the springtime and sometimes in the fall.
He loves me in all seasons, I’ll always answer His call.
I’m clean through the washing of water in His Word.
From the mountain to the valley His praises can be heard.
And the pruning by the Vinedresser, whether inside or out,
It hurts, but in His Presence, love is what it’s all about.
Thank You, Father, for choosing me to be Your friend. Amen.
What a friend we have in Jesus ❤️
Beautiful
