Crazy love. Love unmerited and undeserved. Divine love. Unfailing love. Limitless love. Costly love. Humbling, beautiful love from the burning heart of a wise and kind Father. Unrelenting love. Overwhelming love. Flooding your speechless heart, sweetly breathed love.

And this Father’s love calls me His own. He calls me by His great name. I am the beloved of the Almighty. I am a member of His household, His family. Astounding. God has made me to be His own daughter.

And as good as all this is, and it is exceedingly good, there is yet more. It is not fully revealed because we see as through a glass darkly, but there will be a time when we shall be like Him. We shall partake in His divine nature (2 Peter 1:4). Our war with sin and flesh will be won, and we will at last lay our burdens down. We shall see Him as He is. Behold what manner of love!

Father, we respond to Your love with our worship.
