No Limits
Walk His Way Revisited
In life we face limits every day. Speed limits, food limits, daylight limits, checking account limits, measuring cup limits, and time limits, just to name a few. Limitations, boundaries, borders and restrictions—we all have to face them each day in our lives.
But with the Lord and His great love, there are NO limits! If we can just grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ—that we may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
His love for us is stronger than the Sundial glass bridge over Redding, higher than Mt. Shasta’s snow-capped peaks, deeper than the blue Pacific Ocean, bigger than outer space, weightless like the soft clouds in the sky, but small enough to fit into our human hearts. When I ponder how amazing this love is, I am overwhelmed to the point of tears. No person on earth can love me like this, and no force in this world is as powerful as God’s love.
This gift of love is free to both you and me! We just need to accept it, as we would any gift from a friend. But this gift truly keeps on giving, never runs out, or grows dim, or fades away. God’s love is limitless, powerful, unending and everlasting.
Just knowing that His loving presence is sufficient to carry me through each day is more than enough to overflow my cup. He will satisfy all my needs and make my will His will when my heart is right with Him (Psalm 37:3-4).
How about grabbing a cup of God’s overflowing love with me now as we start or end another beautiful day? Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life” (John 4:13-14 NIV).
Thank You, Lord, for the gift of Your overflowing limitless love. I pray, Lord, that anyone reading this today will accept Your love for them as a free gift and be changed forever with the living water that satisfies our thirsty souls. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
