“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” John 14:6
What If It’s True?
Funny thing, life—it’s precious. It’s fleeting. It’s full of joys and full of sorrows and pains. People are born. People die. And for those of us that believe Jesus at His word, we have hope. Not a wishy-washy-maybe hope. A hope that is secure and steadfast. It is a hope that has been proven with the precious blood and glorious resurrection of Jesus.
For those without this hope, who say, “What if it isn’t true? There is no heaven. There is no hell,” I’d say to them, “Well, then, it really won’t matter, will it? We have no conscience or recollection of life before we were born. Darkness goes to darkness. BUT WHAT IF IT IS TRUE? WHAT IF IT IS ALL TRUE?”
Jesus said, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil” (John 3:16-19).
“And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell” (Matthew 10:28).
“In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also” (John 14:2-3).
“I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in Me will never die. Do you believe this” (John 11:25-26)?
Twelve apostles and over 500 people witnessed the resurrected Jesus. Scholars don’t doubt His existence. The 12 apostles all were beaten, tortured, and all but John died for the truth. Countless saints have faced the same battles. Jesus, God in the flesh is alive! It’s all true!
Do you believe this?
“Heavenly Father, I thank You that it’s all true—every single word. Reveal Yourself to those who do not as yet believe. Help me in my unbelief and make me steadfast and immovable in the truth. In Jesus name, Amen!”
Well put, where the rubber meets the road!
Amen.
Amen
Amen!
“I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live… simple message, profound truth, great comfort. This ia a timely word for today.
It’s all true!
