“In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.” Matthew 6:9-13
My Prayer
My Father in heaven,
Father, You are ruler over all. May I confess something? Sometimes I’m filled with doubt. But at the heart of it, I do believe. Help my unbelief!
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your Name is holy, sanctified, blessed. Under no other name can man be saved! Your Name is to be greatly revered! Forgive me for the times I forget this—for the times Your Name is used so casually.
Your kingdom come.
I long for the day when You set the world right. May I always be on the lookout to do my part in ministering to others.
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
May I submit to Your will, Lord, and not my own. More of You, less of me!
Please, give me this day my daily bread.
Thank You for supplying what I need. Please forgive me for the times I’m ungrateful when I don’t have what I want. My cupboards may sometimes not be as full as I’d like, but I know that I’ll be all right.
And forgive me my debts, as I forgive my debtors.
I have so much I need to be forgiven for; please forgive me, and please help me to be forgiving. May I have Your heart for others, and love as You love them.
And do not lead me into temptation, but deliver me from the evil one.
I know I am tempted when I step outside of Your will. I want my desire to obey You to be stronger than my desire to sin! Give me strength, Lord, and please protect me from the wiles of the enemy.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
I long for Your kingdom! Thank You for the assurance that I will one day stand before You and proclaim Your power and Your glory and Your dominion forever!
In Jesus’ name,
AMEN!
Amen….beautifully done!❤️
