Each of these is a separate Greek verb with a variation in meaning. The first <strong>rejoice<\/strong>\u00a0is <em>chairo<\/em>, which means \u201cexceedingly glad.\u201d The second <strong>rejoice<\/strong>\u00a0is <em>synchairo<\/em>, and means \u201cto rejoice with someone or something.\u201d Love is not only exceedingly glad <i>about<\/i> the truth but rejoices with others <i>in<\/i> the truth.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"BodyA\">In love, His gift to us is His Word, which is THE truth. The centerpiece of that truth is Jesus; not only Jesus, the Babe of the manger which we are celebrating, but Jesus Christ of the cross, our Savior!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"BodyA\">He is Love. He is Truth, and we are exceedingly glad and rejoice in and with Him, as His love offers us the most precious gift at Christmas\u2013salvation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em>Prayer<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"BodyA\"><em>Father, may the love of baby Jesus fill our hearts, may we rejoice in truth, and may the gift of salvation make us ever grateful. Amen!<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"BodyA\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em>Call to Action<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"BodyA\">Don<span lang=\"AR-SA\">\u2019<\/span>t let the gift of His Word be unopened this season. Let<span lang=\"AR-SA\">\u2019<\/span>s challenge ourselves to be diligent in our daily reading and study and focus on the eternal rather than those things that seem urgent and more important.
