The Queen\u2019s Example<\/strong><\/h2>\n

“As for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.”<\/em> Micah 7:7<\/p>\n

When Queen Elizabeth died, I followed the events surrounding her passing. I was saddened in a way that surprised me\u2014I think because I admired her. She was a faithful woman. She made a commitment, a vow\u2014and she dutifully lived it out to her last day. She made mistakes along the way, but she learned and grew through them. She loved the Lord, and she leaned into Him in hard times.<\/p>\n

I will miss her, her example.\u00a0She seemed to have been suffering physically in recent times, so I’m glad she’s no longer suffering.\u00a0She once told a chaplain that she wished the Lord would come in her lifetime.\u00a0When asked why she said, “I should so love to lay my crown at His feet.”\u00a0She is worshipping before Him now.<\/p>\n

I have had to deal with some stressful things.\u00a0Some days were very intense. I mentioned this to a friend, and she shared an acronym with me that I love.<\/p>\n

J\u00a0<\/strong>– just
\nE\u00a0<\/strong>– enough
\nS<\/strong>\u00a0– strength
\nU\u00a0<\/strong>– under
\nS<\/strong>\u00a0– stress<\/p>\n

Jesus truly comes and give us the strength we need when times of stress come.\u00a0I have experienced that, and I am so grateful for His help and faithfulness! I couldn’t make it without Him.<\/p>\n

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.”<\/em>\u00a0Psalm 46:1,2<\/p>\n

As I write this, my heart is full of worship for His grace, strength, and help.<\/p>\n

Father, we need Your strength in times of stress. Help us to look to Your provision, Your Son, Your peace, rather than looking for something within ourselves. Thank You for providing for in our times of need. Amen.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>
