Let Come What May<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\u201cHe will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge;\u00a0<\/em>You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.\u201d<\/em> Psalm 91:4-6<\/p>\n

I must spend too much time on Facebook. Some of my \u201cfriends\u201d post some of the most horrific news of events that have happened, will happen, or might happen. I know they mean well and are trying to be the watchman on the tower; however, it\u2019s enough to drive me to bed, pull the covers over my head, and cry out to God to \u201ctake me home now, please!\u201d But alas, I am still here and God gently reminded me this morning of my favorite hymn from long ago:<\/p>\n

I’m Living In His Love* <\/strong><\/p>\n

(Sung to the tune of \u201cDanny Boy\u201d)<\/em><\/p>\n

He did not come to spare me<\/p>\n

All the woes of life<\/p>\n

Or bear me up<\/p>\n

On flow’ry beds of ease<\/p>\n

He does not shield my ears<\/p>\n

From cries of pain and strife<\/p>\n

Nor hide my eyes from scenes<\/p>\n

That may displease<\/p>\n

But sure am I His pow’r has form’d<\/p>\n

This world I see<\/p>\n

And stronger still<\/p>\n

His mighty love for me<\/p>\n

So without fear I’m living<\/p>\n

In that love each day<\/p>\n

My God will take me<\/p>\n

Thru the storms<\/p>\n

Let come what may<\/p>\n

I cannot tell what lies beyond<\/p>\n

The tow’ring range<\/p>\n

Or what the distant valley holds for me<\/p>\n

My pathways lead through lands<\/p>\n

And waters cold and strange<\/p>\n

Tomorrow comes but has no guarantee<\/p>\n

But sure am I His pow’r has form’d<\/p>\n

This world I see<\/p>\n

And stronger still<\/p>\n

His saving grace for me<\/p>\n

So without fear I’m living<\/p>\n

In God’s love each day<\/p>\n

My God will take me thru the storms<\/p>\n

Let come what may<\/p>\n

I am so glad that God covers me with His feathers and that I don\u2019t need to fear anything that comes my way. Aren\u2019t you?<\/p>\n

Thank You, God, that You will take me through the storms of life. Thank You that You have the power to restore all the enemy has stolen from mankind. I am still here, which means that You are not done with me yet. Please give me Your peace to make it through today, doing Your will. Let come what may. In the name of Jesus, Amen.<\/em><\/p>\n
