Some of my \u201cfriends\u201d post some of the most horrific news of events that have happened, will happen, or might happen. I know they mean well and are trying to be the watchman on the tower; however, it\u2019s enough to drive me to bed, pull the covers over my head, and cry out to God to \u201ctake me home now, please!\u201d But alas, I am still here and God gently reminded me this morning of my favorite hymn from long ago:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>I&#8217;m Living In His Love* <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>(Sung to the tune of \u201cDanny Boy\u201d)<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">He did not come to spare me<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">All the woes of life<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Or bear me up<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">On flow&#8217;ry beds of ease<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">He does not shield my ears<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">From cries of pain and strife<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Nor hide my eyes from scenes<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">That may displease<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">But sure am I His pow&#8217;r has form&#8217;d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">This world I see<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And stronger still<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">His mighty love for me<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">So without fear I&#8217;m living<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">In that love each day<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">My God will take me<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Thru the storms<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Let come what may<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I cannot tell what lies beyond<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The tow&#8217;ring range<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Or what the distant valley holds for me<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">My pathways lead through lands<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And waters cold and strange<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Tomorrow comes but has no guarantee<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">But sure am I His pow&#8217;r has form&#8217;d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">This world I see<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And stronger still<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">His saving grace for me<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">So without fear I&#8217;m living<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">In God&#8217;s love each day<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">My God will take me thru the storms<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Let come what may<\/p>\n<p>I am so glad that God covers me with His feathers and that I don\u2019t need to fear anything that comes my way. Aren\u2019t you?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Thank You, God, that You will take me through the storms of life. Thank You that You have the power to restore all the enemy has stolen from mankind. I am still here, which means that You are not done with me yet. Please give me Your peace to make it through today, doing Your will. Let come what may.
