My Dear Floyd<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Floyd is now with his beloved Jesus!\u00a0He wanted to finish his life more and more in love with Jesus.\u00a0I think his heart’s desire was fulfilled.<\/p>\n

Thank you for all the lovely messages and tributes for my dear husband. I so appreciate the love and honor you are extending to him.\u00a0It comforts my heart.\u00a0I am slowly reading, “savoring” everything.\u00a0At least two churches that I know of took the Sunday service to honor Floyd.\u00a0That was very special.<\/p>\n

We had prayed for “healing or heaven” for Floyd, and God chose heaven.\u00a0I trust His wisdom in that.\u00a0After grieving for over five years already, the grief is now “final.”\u00a0It is a profound grief in my heart.\u00a0The tears are flowing, but they are bringing healing.\u00a0I take comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering.\u00a0I don’t know how he endured.<\/p>\n

Floyd’s doctor told me that the hospital staff are in mourning. They loved Floyd, and considered him “family.”\u00a0He said that Floyd inspired them\u2014his courage.\u00a0He called him a warrior. And all this while Floyd could not speak a word. It had to be the presence of the Lord with him.<\/p>\n

The last few days have been intense. I’d really appreciate your prayers for added grace and strength. I had a good report from my doctor when I went for my post-surgery checkup on Friday.\u00a0I’m grateful for the timing of the good news.<\/p>\n

Many details to cover in the coming days, but I’m trying to take one day at a time.<\/p>\n

The photo shared with this update is one I hadn’t seen until yesterday when someone sent it to me.\u00a0The memory warmed my heart!<\/p>\n
