\u201cHe is the Rock, His work is perfect; for all His ways are justice, a God of truth and without injustice; righteous and upright is He.\u201d<\/em> Deuteronomy 32:4 NKJV<\/p>\n

It Seems Unfair<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The last several months I\u2019ve been struggling with what I perceive is \u201cunfair\u201d for myself and others\u2014life isn\u2019t fair\u2014however, in my heart and mind I know that God is my Rock and His ways are perfect because His Word says so. I\u2019ve experienced His perfect ways in my life numerous times\u2014He is just and fair, and His plans and ways are so much better than mine\u2014and I know this.<\/p>\n

It seems that everything in my fleshly being is tired\u2026tired of the daily negativity that surrounds me, tired of entanglements and obstacles that arise at all hours of the day, tired of the continuous delays so that projects cannot be completed or delivered, and not to mention the undue stress this puts on my financial end of things\u2014therefore my life as a designer is not so fun these days. I\u2019m very sad and emotionally frustrated, and the temptation to \u201cquit\u201d has entered my mind several times a day more now than ever…and of course, I can\u2019t quit. There are adjustments that I need to make with God\u2019s guidance and instruction. \u201cBeware of giving up too soon. Our emotions are not reliable guides\u201d (John Piper).<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve done my share of complaining in prayer to my Lord while asking Him what my part is and what I should do. I\u2019ve also asked Him to show me a glimpse of progress or accomplishment while on this journey. David prayed in Psalm 142:2, \u201cI pour out my complaint before Him; and tell my trouble before Him\u201d<\/em>; and in Psalm 143:5, 8, \u201cI remember the days of old; I meditate on all that You have done\u2026. Let me hear in the morning of Your steadfast love, for in You I trust.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Today, if you\u2019re dealing with struggles\u2014pain, heartache, financial, etc.\u2014you are not alone. Our problems are not trivial to Him. God sees us and He hears us even when we don\u2019t feel that He is near, or even when we don\u2019t see progress. We know that He is working behind the scenes for us\u2014that is the hope we have in Jesus. His work is perfect, His ways are just.<\/p>\n

God answered my prayer. I\u2019ve seen a glimpse of hope of some accomplishments, as well as a little financial help for my hard work. Once again, He lets me know He is near; He\u2019s got this.<\/p>\n

I believe complaining is okay\u2014if we complain only to Him. He delights in us and understands us.<\/p>\n

\u201cGod never hurries. There are no deadlines against which He must work. Only to know this is to quiet our spirits and relax our nerves” (A.W. Tozer).<\/p>\n

Lord, once again we come before You with our complaints and our praise! You are just and fair. We give You all the glory! Amen.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>
