“Indeed there is hope for a tree.\u00a0If it’s cut down and still sprouting and its shoots don’t fail, if its roots age in the ground and its stump dies in the dust, at the scent of water, it will bud and produce sprouts like a plant.”<\/em> Job 14:7-9 (CEB)<\/p>\n

Life Finds a Way<\/strong><\/h2>\n

I’ve been reminding myself of God’s faithfulness.\u00a0I’ve been casting my burdens on the Lord.\u00a0And I’ve been receiving His grace and strength by faith each day.\u00a0He has helped me day by day.<\/p>\n

I was also reminded of something my sister-in-law posted on Facebook recently. She entitled it “life finds a way.”\u00a0The photo is of an old, dead, dried up tree trunk\u2014with a beautiful green tree growing out of the middle of it.\u00a0It’s striking!\u00a0It’s such a vivid reminder that new life, beauty, and amazing things can come from something that seems dead and gone.\u00a0This new life literally pushed away the old and dead trunk.\u00a0Nothing could stop its growth!<\/p>\n

I love that visual.\u00a0It’s a perfect illustration that in the midst of “deadness”\u2014what has been lost\u2014fresh new life can come.\u00a0Things may be lost in our lives.\u00a0Things may seem dead.\u00a0It may seem like there is no hope.\u00a0And yet, with God’s touch of life, miracles can spring up!\u00a0I keep trusting for that in a number of areas.<\/p>\n

With God\u2014life will always find a way!<\/p>\n

Many of us have been going through hard times.\u00a0Some may feel dead, dried up.\u00a0But there is life in the midst of hardness!\u00a0We must keep our eyes on Him, and keep hope alive.\u00a0Life always finds a way.<\/p>\n

Lord, show us Your new life amidst the dead places in us. Help us to patiently wait and watch for what You are doing. Amen.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>
