Falling<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Listening to music yesterday while working from home, \u201cJust Be Held,\u201d by Casting Crowns, came up in my \u201cmom\u2019s playlist\u201d rotation. It came to the part:<\/p>\n

\u201cSo when you’re on your knees and answers seem so far away<\/em>
\nYou’re not alone, stop holding on and just be held
\nYour world’s not falling apart, it’s falling into place
\nI’m on the throne, stop holding on and just be held.*\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve heard the song 100 times, but the thought struck me\u2026even when your world is falling into place, it\u2019s still falling. It may not be the falling backwards out of an airplane and your parachute isn\u2019t opening kind of freefall, but it is nevertheless letting go and falling into the hands of God, trusting He will catch you. As I was looking for the lyrics online this morning, I came across an interview with the lead singer of Casting Crowns, Mark Hall. In it he gave scriptural references which connected to the song:<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cJust Be Held” connects to the biblical truth found in Matthew 11:28-30: “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0…God loves you so much. Lean on Him, and He’ll give you strength. If you are a follower of Jesus, you can know for certain that God is singing these words over you: “Come to Me, find your rest, in the arms of the God who won’t let go<\/em>.”**<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Zephaniah 3:17: “The Eternal your God is standing right here among you, and He is the champion who will rescue you. He will joyfully celebrate over you; He will rest in His love for you; He will joyfully sing because of you like a new husband\u201d<\/em> (VOICE).<\/p>\n

Philippians 4:6 : \u201cDon’t be anxious about things; instead, pray. Pray about everything. He longs to hear your requests, so talk to God about your needs and be thankful for what has come\u201d<\/em> (VOICE).<\/p>\n

Ladies, if you feel like your world is falling apart, I pray that you will let go and fall back into the arms of your Father. He will catch and uphold (sustain, aid) you. Trust the pieces are falling together. He is right here, right now. Be held.<\/p>\n

Father God, thank You that nothing is too big for You. You indeed are our Champion; help us trust You with whatever we\u2019re holding onto today. Amen.<\/em><\/p>\n
