On Hold<\/strong><\/h2>\n

I have been trying to call a traffic office about a fine I received.\u00a0The fine is from another province, it’s not my car, it’s not my license plate number, and the fine was issued on the day I was in surgery.\u00a0So, obviously, it’s not for me!\u00a0But I have to deal with it.\u00a0As soon as I received the notice, I tried to call the office.\u00a0I waited endlessly on hold while I was told that “all agents are busy\u2014please stay on the line.” I waited and waited and waited.\u00a0Finally I sent an email.<\/p>\n

I repeated this process a couple days later, only to be on hold endlessly again. I sent another email.\u00a0This happened over and over.\u00a0Finally\u00a0<\/em>I spoke to someone which then meant I had to send in pages and pages of information.\u00a0I was told that what I sent might be lost, so I should keep copies in case I needed to send it again\u2014not very confidence-building about the process!\u00a0Everything has been done\u2014and I still feel on hold as I’ve had no response. It’s beyond frustrating.<\/p>\n

I was thinking about all this…and the most wonderful thought went through my mind.\u00a0G<\/strong>od never ever puts us on hold!<\/strong>\u00a0He is available 24\/7, 365 days a year, and we never have to wait because He’s busy! He is only a whisper away as we call on Him.\u00a0He hears us right away when we call. We may not always get the answer we want\u2014His ways and wisdom are higher than ours\u2014but He will always, always listen and bring comfort to our hearts.\u00a0He strengthens us, encourages us, and gives sufficient grace to us.\u00a0He never leaves us all alone.\u00a0We never have to fear being put on hold when we call on His name.<\/p>\n

Father, You \u201ctake our calls\u201d for any need we have, big or small, anytime, anywhere. You never put us on hold. We couldn\u2019t survive if we weren\u2019t able to call on You at every point of our need. Thank You, Lord!<\/em><\/p>\n
