Fully, Overwhelmingly, Radically<\/strong><\/h2>\n

I still battle with sleep some nights.\u00a0In particular, I wake up a lot and then try to get back to sleep.\u00a0One night this week as I was laying awake, I felt the Lord speaking to my heart that He is FOR us!\u00a0All of us. I think the enemy tries to get us to believe that God is against us if we fail or make mistakes.\u00a0But, even in our\u00a0weakness, in our mistakes, in our need, in our sin\u2014God is always FOR us.<\/p>\n

The Bible tells us that God grieves over our sin.\u00a0It separates us from Him.\u00a0I’m sure He is disappointed and sad over mistakes we make.\u00a0But His loving, Father heart always pursues us.\u00a0He willingly forgives us as we repent.\u00a0We are His creation, His children and He never turns His back on us.\u00a0He is\u00a0F<\/strong>ully,\u00a0O<\/strong>verwhelmingly,\u00a0R<\/strong>adically FOR<\/strong> us\u2014always! He loves us with an eternal, unending love.<\/p>\n

I think of times when I’ve made mistakes, when I’ve sinned\u2014I’m the one who pulls away from Him!\u00a0I’m embarrassed, ashamed, and I withdraw.\u00a0But as soon as I get over myself and turn to the Lord, He’s always FOR me, ready to forgive and give me new beginnings.\u00a0He doesn’t shower me with guilt.\u00a0He doesn’t hang my mistakes over my head.\u00a0He forgives. He loves me. He brings peace back to my heart.\u00a0He tells me He is FOR me!\u00a0Nothing can separate us from His loving, Father heart.<\/p>\n

I have rejoiced in recent days, after that middle-of-the-night reminder, in thanking God that He is FOR us.\u00a0The enemy may try to distract us, deceive us, or discourage us…but the clear truth of the Word is that God is FOR us\u2014today, tomorrow, always.\u00a0What a wonderful promise that is!<\/p>\n

Lord, thank You for the convincing truths in Your Word, in Your presence, in Your promises, and in Your actions that You are FOR us.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>
