\u201cCall to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.\u201d <\/i>Jeremiah 33:3<\/p>\n

Call Me<\/b><\/h2>\n

Have you been to a low place in your life when a friend said, \u201cIf you need me, just call me\u201d? Did you call? No? Why not? Whatever your answer, I am certain that many of us can relate.<\/p>\n

God told us to call Him and He would answer us and show us amazing things. Do you call Him? He may be waiting to amaze you!<\/p>\n

\u201cLord, help me,\u201d I whispered. \u201cI am alone with my little girl, and cannot afford another tire. Please help me know what to do.\u201d<\/p>\n

I had this conversation at the tire store. \u201cSir, you have ordered a tire for my car. I had the cash to pay for it in an envelope in my purse, but my purse was stolen. Could I make payments for the tire? I will make weekly payments out of my paychecks.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ll work something out,\u201d he replied. After they put the tire on my car, he said to me, \u201cYou were so nice when the tire was incorrectly ordered and delayed so many times, there will be no charge.\u201d<\/p>\n

God used a secular tire business to bless me. He said, \u201cCall Me\u201d, and I did, but my faith was small, and I did not anticipate such a blessing. Of course, He doesn\u2019t always answer in that way, but at a low point in my life, He let me know He was still in control and He was taking care of me. He knew all along He had this special surprise for me, just waiting for the asking. If my money had not been stolen, I would not have experienced this sweet hug from Jesus. This experience is etched in my memory to increase my faith when I need a reminder of His loving care over me.<\/p>\n

Because of the disobedience of the children of Israel, God allowed the Babylonians to capture the beautiful city of Jerusalem. He allowed the capture, but He did not desert His people. In Jeremiah 33:3, our gracious God gave them (and us), His phone number.\u00a0\u201cCall to Me, and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things.\u201d\u00a0<\/i>The word for call <\/b>in this Scripture means \u201cto cry out; shout loudly in an attempt to get someone\u2019s attention; call by name.\u201d The\u00a0phrase mighty<\/strong>\u00a0things\u00a0<\/b>means \u201cunsearchable, remarkable secrets about things to come; hidden, incomprehensible, and mysterious.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLord, You said to \u2018Call upon me in the day of trouble, I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me” <\/i>(Psalm 50:15).\u00a0May I glorify You by sharing with others that You are anxious to answer our call and deliver us and show us amazing things. Thank You, Lord, for encouraging us to call You. May our testimonies of Your caring love draw others to know You.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>
