We try not to get too caught up in the commercialism; we get together and make crafts, laugh, play games and love on one another.<\/p>\n<p>What I love most about Christmas is\u2014even in the frantic pace most people seem to get in from the middle of October through the first part of January\u2014Christmas is a time of love, peace and joy. People seem kinder, even in the rush. The familiar bells ring outside stores, and people give.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>\u201cFather God, thank You for this time of celebration\u2014of true peace on earth and goodwill toward men. Help us to remember in the midst of the hustle and bustle, even in the midst of our favorite traditions, the real reason we celebrate Christmas is Your love shown to us through the precious gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ.
