\u201cIn the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.\u201d<\/em> Matthew 5:16 NLT<\/span><\/p>\n

His Love Shines<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

This morning God blessed me beyond what I could ask or think!<\/span><\/p>\n

I was sitting on the patio, facing south, reading the \u201cWalk His Way\u201d posting on my new smart phone. It was early enough that the sun was not all the way up yet. As I was reading, I was aware it was getting brighter; the sun was peaking over the neighbor\u2019s house through the trees.<\/span><\/p>\n

I sat there and allowed the sun to slowly wash over me. It warmed my spirit, soul, and body. I just sat quietly thanking God for the blessing of the sunrise.<\/span><\/p>\n

Just the slow, gradually intensifying of His light on me was truly amazing. It made me want to do what Jesus said: \u201cIn the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.\u201d<\/em> If my heavenly Father would bless me so abundantly, then I wanted to do something that would bless Him. Matthew tells us we can.<\/span><\/p>\n

So, Sisters, as we \u201cwalk His way,\u201d let us walk with thankful hearts, letting our good deeds shine on everyone around us so God can be praised, and people can know what a blessing it is to serve our God.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then before I knew it, He gave me a poem besides the blessing of His sunrise. We do serve an awesome God!<\/span><\/p>\n

The morning sun peaks slowly over the horizon,<\/span>
\nJust as the love of God shines through His Son.<\/span>
\nWe are also to shine His love to all,<\/span>
\nTo reach out to help or prevent a fall.<\/span>
\nHis blessings come so abundantly<\/span>
\nThat, \u201cJust like Jesus\u201d is who I want to be.<\/span>
\nHis love shines.<\/span><\/p>\n
