I Wonder as I Wander<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

I wonder as I wander<\/span>
\n On this unexpected way.<\/span>
\n I wonder what is still ahead,<\/span>
\n And what will fill my day.<\/span><\/p>\n

I never planned to come this way –<\/span>
\n This path is so unknown.<\/span>
\n The twists and turns go on and on.<\/span>
\n They\u2019re not what I thought God had shown.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our \u201cgolden years\u201d were just ahead,<\/span>
\n And we planned to slow the pace.<\/span>
\n Instead a whole new course we\u2019re on,<\/span>
\n And we\u2019re in a much different race.<\/span><\/p>\n

I wonder what is still ahead –<\/span>
\n I wonder what the end will be.<\/span>
\n I wonder what God has in store \u2013<\/span>
\n I wonder what He has for me.<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve not been one to wander,<\/span>
\n As the years have all gone by.<\/span>
\n There\u2019s always been a plan He\u2019s shown,<\/span>
\n And I\u2019ve never questioned why.<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve followed each path where He\u2019s led,<\/span>
\n All over the wide world;<\/span>
\n And looked to Him to fulfill what He\u2019d said,<\/span>
\n When I was a young girl.<\/span><\/p>\n

I even felt at that young age<\/span>
\n That someday I\u2019d live here;<\/span>
\n But I would have never dreamed<\/span>
\n That this journey would be so severe.<\/span><\/p>\n

I wonder as I wander what is still ahead.<\/span>
\n Then I hear, as I listen to His sweet voice,<\/span>
\n To keep trusting and holding His hand<\/span>
\n As He shows day by day His choice.<\/span><\/p>\n

I do wonder, as I walk along this journey, what is ahead. I have no idea where this journey will still take us. I have no idea how much longer it will be. Sometimes that is hard. But I’m so grateful He lovingly keeps assuring me to take it one-day-at-a-time and keep holding His hand. How faithful He is!<\/span><\/p>\n

Ladies, let\u2019s join our hearts in prayer for our sister serving in South Africa with her husband.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOur Father, Your eyes are on Floyd and Sally. We don\u2019t understand why these insurmountable physical trials have come upon these servants of Yours\u2014or why they have lasted so long\u2014but Your ways are perfect, good, and just. Would You bless them with restored health and renewed hope and purpose. Protect them from further illness or injury, and make Your presence real to them. As Floyd and Sally would say themselves, \u2018Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.\u2019 In Jesus\u2019 Name, Amen.\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
