Dear Readers,<\/span><\/h4>\n

In preparation for our year looking at Jesus\u2019 example in the gospels, from time to time we will \u201creplay\u201d some older devotionals. We pray these get you excited for this new year of study together and for what God is going to do as we continue \u201cLiving By His Example.”<\/span><\/h4>\n

\u201cIn the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.\u201d<\/em> John 1:1-3<\/span><\/p>\n

Praise<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Great is Your creation, Lord<\/span>
\nAnd all the beauty You have stored.<\/span>
\nThe geese that fly, the birds that sing,<\/span>
\nThe fish that swim, what joy they bring.<\/span><\/p>\n

But awesome is the love You gave<\/span>
\nWhen on the cross Christ died to save.<\/span>
\nLet us not forget to worship You<\/span>
\nAnd give You thanks for all You do.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the great things we discern Your giving,<\/span>
\nBut the small things that pertain to living,<\/span>
\nWe often neglect to realize,<\/span>
\nThese are just as important in our lives.<\/span><\/p>\n

So on this glorious, glorious day<\/span>
\nThis is all my heart can say,<\/span>
\nThank You God for all You\u2019ve done<\/span>
\nAnd for the blessing of Your Son!<\/span><\/p>\n
