For the bride in Song of Solomon<\/span>
\nThe loves of her beloved are more than one.<\/span>
\nBetter than kisses smothering her!<\/span>
\nBetter than any earthly pleasure!<\/span>
\nHis loves are far better than wine<\/span>
\nFor I am His, and He is mine!<\/span>
\nYes, I’m the bride, and Yeshua’s the Groom,<\/span>
\nSo, let His loves my heart consume!<\/span>
\nLike David, when I’m in the desert dry,<\/span>
\nWhen Judah’s praise has turned to sigh,<\/span>
\nI contemplate His power, His glory, His grace.<\/span>
\nThey’re better than life! They’re His embrace!<\/span>
\nI will bless His name as long as I live,<\/span>
\nLift up my hands with praise on my lips!<\/span>
\nHis loves are better and more fortifying<\/span>
\nThan rich foods, and far more satisfying!<\/span>
\nGod, give me strength to grasp from above<\/span>
\nThe limitlessness of Messiah’s loves!<\/span>
\nYes, to know even though it’s beyond all knowing.<\/span>
\nFill me with all the fullness of God to overflowing!<\/span><\/p>\n
