\u201cCall to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.\u201d <\/em>Jeremiah 33:3<\/span><\/p>\n

He Knows<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

There are many things I don\u2019t know or understand. How geese know precisely when to start flying north in the spring, or squirrels to gather acorns in the fall. How salmon know to go back to the very stream they were born to lay their eggs. How generations of monarchs make the journey from Canada to Mexico and back again.<\/span><\/p>\n

One thing I do know though: God knows. He tells the seasons when to change and gives the animals instincts when to fly or gather. He directs the salmon where to return to and He creates the \u201csuper butterfly\u201d every 3rd or 4th generation to make the entire journey back to Canada.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And He knows us. Warts and all, He knows and loves us. He\u2019s got our backs. Nahum 1:7 tells us: \u201cThe LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble, and He knows those who trust in Him.\u201d\u00a0<\/em> As we trust Him and seek Him, when trouble comes He is our Anchor and our Rock. He knows what is best for us.<\/span><\/p>\n

He tells us to call on Him, and He will reveal mysteries to us\u2014things we don\u2019t know, but He does. He imparts wisdom when we need it, gives us words of encouragement and comfort for others, warns us of danger, and shares delightful secrets that warm our hearts and our souls.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is a lot I don\u2019t know, but one thing I am certain of. God loves you and me. For some reason, He delights in us. \u201cThe LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives\u201d<\/em> (Psalm 37:23 NLT). It boggles my mind and fills my heart with gratitude.<\/span><\/p>\n
