{"id":21313,"date":"2017-03-04T00:10:36","date_gmt":"2017-03-04T08:10:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lccredding.com\/lcc\/?p=10186"},"modified":"2017-03-04T00:10:36","modified_gmt":"2017-03-04T08:10:36","slug":"march-4-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.lccredding.org\/church\/2017\/03\/04\/march-4-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"March 4, 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"backgrounder: transparent url('http:\/\/lccredding.com\/lcc\/wp-content\/uploads\/March-2017new.jpg'); backgrounder-size: 600px 300px; left top repeat 0 100% width: 600px; margin: 10px auto; padding: 10px 80px 10px 95px; width: 90%,;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>\u201cAll Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man (or woman) of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.\u201d<\/em> 2 Timothy 3:16-1<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Equipped<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Recently during one of our group times at our women\u2019s study on Colossians, there was quite a bit of talk about how difficult it was to love people who have hurt or offended us. I know it is sometimes very difficult to do that and in my own power, it is all but impossible. My dilemma was, how do I allow God to change my thinking and my heart regarding this? How do I let go of something I feel I have a right to feel? How do I do<em> \u201call things without complaining and disputing\u201d<\/em> (Philippians 2:14)? If I read further in this chapter, Paul tells me in verse 16, <em>\u201cholding fast the Word of life\u2026\u201d<\/em> How do I hold fast to that Word?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">So I asked God, \u201cHow do I love the unlovable?\u201d And you know, He answered me with 2 Timothy 3:17. He told me He has thoroughly equipped me for EVERY good work\u2014including loving the unlovable. That equipment includes Holy Spirit (John 14:16-17), prayer (Philippians 4:6\u2014in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving), and His Word (2 Timothy 3:16). Sometimes the \u201cequipment\u201d is uncomfortable, not easy to use, and even painful. But it\u2019s always exactly what we need.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">After He told me that He has equipped me for EVERYTHING (including loving and praying for those I don\u2019t want to), He asked me a question. \u201cAre you willing to put the equipment on?\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Is this a question He\u2019s asking you today?<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cFather, forgive me when my pride or pain keeps me from doing Your will. Help me to recognize those times and in humility seek You and Your Word immediately. Help me to change my mind and my heart and put on the equipment You have provided.
