The chorus of the song is:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cIn the eye of the storm, You remain in control<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">In the middle of the war, You guard my soul<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">You alone are the anchor, when my sails are torn<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Your love surrounds me in the eye of the storm\u201d*<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">As I lay there and prayed for people the Lord put on my heart, He beckoned me to come with Him and continue reading Jeremiah where we have been journeying together the past several weeks. A treasure hunt through the Word with my Abba Father\u2014what could be better?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">My treasure hunt led me through Jeremiah 30, 31 and 32, where I saw God telling His people, even when they had gone astray and would suffer the consequences (Jeremiah 30:11), He still loved them. <em>\u201cThe LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: \u2018Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you\u2019\u201d<\/em> (Jeremiah 31:3). I saw Jeremiah trusting in God, being obedient to Him even when things looked bleak and impossible. In Jeremiah 32:17, he said, <em>\u201cAh, Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.\u201d<\/em> He bought a field even though he looked out and saw the sea of Chaldeans who would take the remnant of the people of Israel into captivity. He didn\u2019t get it, but he bought it because God told him to (Jeremiah 32:25). The LORD then reminded Jeremiah in verse 27 what he himself had just proclaimed. <em>\u201cBehold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">So whether you are in one of life\u2019s many general storms, in a storm caused by your own choices, caught up in someone else\u2019s, or even in one God has stirred up to bring you or someone you love back to Him\u2014know God is in control. Be reminded that nothing is too hard for Him, and He does love you with an everlasting love.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cLord, I\u2019m praying for all Your daughters who are in a storm this morning and feeling weary and faint. Please reveal Your nearness to them and draw them close to You. You are their Anchor. As You surround them with Your love, may their needs be fully satisfied and their souls be fully refreshed.
