I will declare that Your love stands firm forever, that You have established Your faithfulness in heaven itself.&#8221;\u00a0Psalm 89:1, 2<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Worship on the Hard Days<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>My body has what I call yo-yo days\u2014going up and down in extremes from the things (serious health issues) still impacting my body.\u00a0Please pray for a leveling out, normalizing, rebuilding of my health. I continue to pray for full healing too.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>I was singing a worship chorus about God&#8217;s goodness, His faithfulness, His holiness\u2014and I began thinking of how I&#8217;ve sung these worship songs all my life.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve lifted my hands, I&#8217;ve worshiped with my whole heart, and I&#8217;ve meant every word I&#8217;ve sung.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>But when you&#8217;re going through a trial, when everything in you is being tested, when life itself is hanging by a thread\u2014the words you sing take on new depth and meaning!\u00a0They&#8217;re no longer just wonderful words of a song, they become the cry of your heart!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>I&#8217;m not a songwriter, but I found myself grateful for those who write these songs that help us express our hearts of worship and gratitude to Him. The songs are a rich part of my daily conversations with the Lord.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>I&#8217;m so grateful that God created worship. It blesses Him that we can express ourselves in adoration\u2014but, much more importantly, it gives us an opportunity to pour out our hearts with our love and thankfulness to Him.\u00a0There is something about worship, especially in singing, that draws me in close to His heart.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><em>&#8220;Ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.\u00a0Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name; worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness.&#8221;<\/em> Psalm 29:1,2<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><em>&#8220;Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.\u00a0Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs.&#8221; <\/em>Psalm 100:1,2<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><em>&#8220;Exalt the Lord our God and worship at His footstool; He is holy!&#8221;\u00a0<\/em>Psalm 99:5<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><em>&#8220;I will sing of Your strength, in the morning I will sing of Your love; for You are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.&#8221;\u00a0<\/em>Psalm 59:16<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>I&#8217;m so grateful that I can thank Him for His goodness even on the hardest of days.\u00a0Worship is a gift to us.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><em>\u201cFather, even the expression of our hearts towards You is a gift from You to us. Thank You.
