Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 Isaiah 1:18<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Let Us Reason Together<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Oh my, yes. If I\u2019m anything, I\u2019m a \u201creasoner.\u201d If Jesus was standing right in front of me today, He might paraphrase this to me: \u201cHey now, child, let\u2019s be sane and reason this out. See if you can wrap your head around this! Yes, your sins have been B-A-D, B-U-T they are covered in My Blood! You are no longer guilty! Why do you want to keep digging up that old, dead stuff\u2014it STINKS!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">OK, so He probably wouldn\u2019t say those exact words, but I love in His Word where He patiently says, <em>\u201cCome now\u2026.\u201d<\/em> That sounds so much like a dear Friend who\u2019s willing to even stoop to my ridiculous level of dwelling on the past. He knows me in and out and no matter how many years I\u2019ve walked with Him, I still have this weakness. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">And yes, the enemy of our souls loves to get an advantage here. I like to think that as the years have gone by, perhaps I\u2019ve grown a tad bit quicker to recognize this scenario of accusation and innuendo that plays in my head. But even if I don\u2019t master this tendency before final curtain, I can lie back in the arms of my Friend and listen to His heartbeat of compassion and understanding. Then, together, we can reason it all out once again, and I\u2019ll really, truly see what Jesus did for me on the cross. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cThank You, Lord and Savior, for Your blood covering that makes my sin \u201cwhite as snow\u201d in Your Presence. Forgive me for not appropriating and appreciating Your costly sacrifice at all times.
