“Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ…”

-The New King James Version. (1982). (Php 1:2–6). Nashville: Thomas Nelson.

LCC experienced such a rich time together last Sunday, with heart-felt worship and an inspiring message from God’s Word. On top of that, you contributed over $50,000 for the ministry in Nepal! We now see why God led us to meet together one more time before making more sweeping changes with our services. Thank you to both those who attended and those who stayed home. We love you all! For those who chose to stay home or missed the service for other reasons, we encourage you to listen to the audio message in our smartphone app or online at lccredding.org under the Messages section.

The scripture above is our prayer for you and our promise for continued prayer, as we walk through this unique time together. As we pray for you, would you please pray for us?  We are facing decisions affecting our Church Body and community in ways we haven’t experienced in the past. Please understand that we (Pastor Bryan and the Elders) have been and will continue to seek direction from the Lord, rather than ask Him to approve our own plans.

We, the Elders, met today with Pastor Bryan’s participation from Nepal via Facetime to ask God for direction for the next few weeks.  Here’s what we decided:

All worship services and meetings on campus are postponed through the end of March. Normal campus services will resume as soon as it is prudent.

Until we resume services at the Church facility, LCC will live-stream Wednesday and Sunday services online. Find us by searching for @lccredding on Facebook, Instagram & Twitter. You can also visit our website: lccredding.org.  We are considering other ways for our Church body to stay connected and will let you know if new opportunities arise.

Country Christian School and Pre-School are taking time away from the classroom in concert with other Redding schools.  They hope to re-group on campus after Easter Break.

What a joy to be serving with such a loving and generous Church Body! May the Lord bless you with a sense of His Presence this week as we serve Him and those around us in love,

-Pastor Bryan
