“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:20

Us

A Mini Devotional

I was talking to a friend the other day who told me that he clearly remembers a time when his flesh wanted something very much, but he felt a real battle going on inside of him. It wasn’t a sinful thing he wanted, but he knew it would have fed his flesh.

Suddenly he had the clear sense of Someone inside of him saying, “That wouldn’t be good for us.”

If Christ lives in me, then what I do really does affect HIM as well. I will try to remember this the next time my flesh rises up and wants something to feed it. Before I decide if it is good for me, I should ask if it is good for US.

“Lord, as we make decisions, remind us that You dwell within us—what affects us affects Your dwelling place. In Your Name we pray, Amen.”
